Don't give up fedex,we are still in the works to bring the Teamsters in. Be strong, be patient you have had to deal with them for 20+ years what's 3-4 more months? It will be extra sweet when it Happens!!! Ron G.

We need a union, say yes to union, because I don't want my kids working in an environment reminiscent of the Dark Ages here they have no rights. I want my children to be able to work in an environment where there is respect for work/life balance particularly the needs of families.
My fathers, father fought in wars to give us a fair go, good working conditions and fair pay, and retirement medical benefits.
My grandfather would turn in his grave if he knew your so could caring government are abolishing public holidays and leave loadings Your government is taking more perks out of my family budget, building up your great economy and I have to find the extra money for fuel cost increases, interest rates rises (And four eyes Howard, don’t think I cant do my simple maths, a mortgage 20 years ago with an interest rate of 12 to 15 % on a $110,000 home is no where near as atrocious as a 6% interest rate on a $370,000 home mortgage. And you give me a pathetic 3% pay increase which doesn’t even keep up with inflation.
Now we hear Mr.Fedex Smith,trying to fit in with John Mccain, putting Fedex Smith in the secretary of cabinet,department of labor,would just screw the blue collar man more,don't vote for John Mccain. Being in a right to work state sucks!! but if we fight hard enough, we all could say YES UNION.
I am rallying to fight for the same workers rights that my father fought for many years ago. These are the rights of job security (not to be stood down when it suits the employer), fair pension,and retirement medical benefits the rights to form a union, take part in union rallies and so on.
Unions is to protect the rights which our fore fathers fought and rallied to achieve for the average worker. Think Teamsters and you will gain, don't think Teamsters and Fedex will be making the average worker a slave to the boss!
I am for the Teamsters, reason for it, the hearts of all people, including, according to his own words, Fred smith; freedom and the care of the less-able. Freedom of association, to negotiate collectively with management on an equal basis and to look after those intimidated by management.

Its atrocious that Fedex treats part timers with no benefits and everyone should understand the implications. Even changefedextowin that are designed to "soften" the blow.
Workers need to stand up and support the Teamsters and make a labor movement and I wish I was there to be a part of it.
To bring some kind of common decency to the workplace. Nobody in this country should have to work under intimidation, nor fear for standing up for themselves or their "mates" at work.I beleive in the Teamsters,my father was a member and retired from the Teamsters,and he says he is still a proud Teamsters,good job change fedex to win!!!!!
I have been in the workforce as a teacher for a good part of 40 years. In that time I have seen significant changes to working conditions. It is shattering to see that the clock is being turned back, so that my children who are now in the workforce have to go through those struggles all over again. I would have hoped that the achievements gsined over the last 40 years would be a legacy to my children. I feel that as a generation of older workers, we need to have something positive to leave to the workers of today which are the future of the american workforce,great job Joe Nuno,and the commitee of change fedex to win.

Everyone should get involved with their union and run for different positions. If you're not at the table, you don't have a say. Getting involved―it's what makes unions strong. It's the best thing for you." It wont happen at Fedex alone, all management control you.

Employers are trying to shed responsibilities—for providing health insurance, good pension coverage, reasonable work hours and job safety protections, for example—while making workers' jobs and incomes less secure through downsizing, part-timing and contracting out. Working people need a voice at work to keep employers from making our jobs look like they did 100 years ago.

I am for the union I just wish the union would start coming to different service centers to reach everybody. Go Union I am tired of being treated like crap everyday I go to work getting humiliated for doing my job by Fedex Management always yelling at me calling me names demeaning me as a person. We need the Union sooner than later.
The management at the Whittier Service Center has treated the employees who support the Union very poorly. Harassing them showing now signs of job advancement and no opportunities for the people who care the most about Fedex. They show favortism and demeaning tactics against the pro Union employees. Shame on Andy
