Roadway Management Violates Contract

I had a conversation with a Roadway driver and the topic of PT drivers at their terminal lately. He said that the employees (the union) there found out that the company was using outside drivers to do local deliveries in the low desert. Some dockworkers (the union) noticed that freight was loaded for one Roadway driver and the overflow was given to the outside carrier, cutting about three company drivers (union drivers).
This was a violation of their contract so a grievance was filed and the employee's (the union) prevailed!
Roadway had to recall furlough drivers and had to pay the drivers who lost work because of the outside carriers. Six weeks of pay per driver who were affected by Roadway’s mismanagement.

You see that this just doesn’t happen at FedEx only, it happens everywhere. But with a union in the workplace employees can come together and right the wrong that a company does to its employee’s. That is why this petition is so important to sign. Under the NRLB what FedEx is doing is undermining the work force during a known organizing campaign which is a “Violation” The amount of outside carriers coming into SBO alone has increased.

if the national labor relation board rules on our favor, would we all be back paid on our lost wages? and reinstated to our jobs?

A C-O-N-T-R-A-C-T prevented the ongoing screwing of fellow employees.

I haven't read any mention of the Raging Waters company picnic. Is that still happening or did Fedex management take that away too???

It would all be up to the judge who over see's the case. And most likely the rewards would only go to those who have signed the petition.
So don't be left behind get active and involved. Signing the petition takes you from an "at-will" employee to a "just-cause" employee.

RAGING WATERS, BBQ'S, QTR BONUS, YEAR END BONUS, 401K MATCH, RAISES, UNIFORMS SUPPLY CUT IN HALF, BIDS, BENEFITS, GOOD TRANSFER POLICYS, ITS ALL GONE OR CHANGED OR SLASHED BIG TIME. WE SHOULD ALL BE HAPPY TO BRING IN THE TEAMSTERS AND START OVER WITH A GOOD BINDING CONTRACT BECAUSE THEY SURE HAVE LEFT US OUT IN THE COLD.

Tammy this is how fedex freight pay for being anti-union no more raging waters,bbqs,qtr bonus,year end bonus, uniform supply cut in half bids benefits 401k match we should all be happy to bring in the teamsters becouse a contract prevented the ongoing screwing of fellow employees lets get active and sign the petition takes you from an"AT-WILL"employee to a "JUST-CAUSE"employee the anaheim p&d under cover organizer shiiii.....

don't worry about those union busters, when they lose more benefits and have to work for peanuts ( coming sooon ) they will jump on the train with us. keep talking up the union and come sunday to orange at 8.30. were getting stronger brothers, just be there and be counted.
