FedEx Freight has access to a wide variety of anti-union material from many sources. The typical anti-union campaign of secret identity of pretend employees on blog site creating activities where you can expect confusion, coercion and intimidation to keep you from becoming a union. Lies are usually out front. FedEx will use anti-union consultants or employees to tell flat-out lies and put out misinformation and statements about the Teamsters every step of the way to try and convince you that forming a union is a bad deal for you. Or have you heard this one? "We'll have to close down and move elsewhere if the union gets in here" or "We will no longer afford to be in business". The list goes on with what coerce employee tell other employees. All this rhetoric, while FedEx rake in millions of dollars in profits. FedEx corporate will go to extraordinary lengths to make sure you stay " union free". When was the last time FedEx corporate cared so much about your well-being except when you decided to look into forming a union? There have been numerous cases where some service centers will go to the edge or break the law just to prevent you from forming a union. Know your rights and keep good notes and copies of company propaganda and threats. Good documentation is very helpful if you and your co-workers need to file Unfair Labor Practices (ULP) against the employer for unlawful activity. One last thing do not stay under the radar, is better to stand up for your rights to form a union, if you stay under the radar you do not have protection under the National Labor Relation Act.
Sincerely
Joe Nuño

This is bull shit, I know what you are saying Joe, what piss me off is those brown nose kiss ass that love drinking that good old koolaid and think that everything is fine and believe everyting Fedex preaches. The crap that bothers me the most is when co-workers who had gotten strip off their benefits, reduce in pay scale and have the nerves to tell the pro-union to be happy we still have a job. That there is no need for a union here, are they that humble to not to stand up or are they the one who are being coerce to stand up for corporate communist?
It's time we as co-workers of FedEx step up to the plate and help Joe and his watchdogs. We the people need to start making a list of phone nunmbers and address so we could start the process, and just not one terminal but all terminals. We the people must demand to be reconize for our rights to form a union. STOP CORPORATE GREED
How do I step up to the plate? when I am hanging by a thread, I am a dock worker at Anaheim as a part timer. That is all I have to support my family and to try to get a 2nd job is hard to get in our economy.Luckily my lady works and helps to make end meet, she doesn't make much but her job provides health insurance, and that is a good concern for us. Now for us at Anaheim, we can't even mention union or Teamsters, because Mike Hutton will have a cow. Is been said that Mike has his little stool pigeons on the dock and on the group of drivers to inform him on union activities. plus you got this Peterson always treating us like animals, yelling at us, cussing at us. We have compliant to Mike and he never seems to fix the problem, seem like Mike is afraid of Peterson. Let me said there is alot of coercing and intimidation here at Anaheim. When you guys been out at the gates passing union leaflets, the managers at the terminal are watching you like a hawk. Now you see that is hard for us to step up to the plate, when we have no one to stand up as a group with balls.
("help us conquered our fear")
If you do your job right and follow FedEx directions, then you be the man with the big balls. Be a man and stand up for your rights and tell this Mike Hutton that you have the rights to form a union.
Wow Julie i love the way you get to the point, keep talking like that and you got yourself a for sure vote. But seriusly, how can we over power the Right to work state to even consider to organize here in Odessa Tx, be hard to convince a majority crowd here!
Does anybody know what is going to happen with us National ltl? hear they are going to cut us off. Anybody in the west coast have an answer to this?
"...we can't even mention union or Teamsters, because Mike Hutton will have a cow."
Let me tell you something about Mike Hutton. Mike's ass is in a sling. He doesn't get it yet, but he is being set up, and there are, shall we say, a select few watching his every move. He can't even take a crap without someone noting and timing it. His number is up; we've had enough of him.
The same goes for Peterson. These are volitile times; people are losing their jobs, being treated like human waste, and not making a sufficient living. Those with power had best mind their P's and Q's.
