On June 30th, Joe Nuno was terminated from his driver position at the Mira Loma, CA terminal by none other than the infamous Mark Link.
Joe received the call informing him about his termination during the first day of his vacation.
This shows all, that none of us, no matter how disciplined we are at work,we are all under an “AT WILL” employee at FedEx. And we need to have Representation and Collective Bargaining at the workplace.
What happened to Joe this past week will not be a deterrent to the cause we are fighting for. But should be a motivation to take us to the next level!

I am sure glad that I transferred out of mrl at the beginning of the year. Mark is a man who will do what he can to get rid of people who he thinks is a threat to his ideology. A phoenix manager was terminated because of his treatment of employees there. But this was only done because the employees there wrote letters to h.r. And fedex got rid of him. All you mrl employees should do the same and come together as a group and petition Marks mistreatment of you guys.
this is blatant Union descrimination and harassment from the Fedex brass. Fedex has continually intimidated all of their employees to a severe point to where they have now been stripped of every dignity and respect they ever had as Fedex employees. These managers and SCM's do cocaine and other drugs and drink on the job and party and do crazy outlandish things not to mention harass the hourly employees who are the ones who do the hard work for this company. Fedex Freight is a complete joke of a company and best wishes to Joe Nuno and God Bless his Family. Fedex Freight has to be one the the worst companies operating in the United Sates they do absolutely nothing for their employees, but harass and intimidate them, cut their benefits, wages and 401k's and continue this steadfast pattern of employee abuse. Fedex Freight has shamed the name of Viking Freight with an ugly stain. When people ask me oh you work for fedex? and then they tell me,"Ihear thats a shitty company." and i tell them"Yes it is, very shitty!"
So they fired Joe Nuno. Everyone knows this is in retaliation for him wanting to bring the Union in Fedex and going against the company. This smells like lawsuit to me.
What should be done is some sort of rally in front of that terminal with signs of "unfair labor practice" "fedex a proves the use of union busting tactics".
Fedex fired Joe. Victory for non union scabs?? I think not

I hear joe was fired for not turning in two dr's! How many times have anyone not turn in drs without any form of verbal written or suspension!

A Global Compliance auditor or third-party auditor arrives unannounced at a randomly chosen company. He or she, accompanied by the manager, walks through the company for a full day, recording observations and responses to more than 400 questions; pointing out immediately correctable issues; reviewing job title information, plus personnel records and wages; and interviewing employees privately.
